20x20 Trade Show Displays
A 20x20 island booth is a different category of exhibit altogether. Four hundred square feet of open, accessible space on all four sides means attendees can approach from any direction, your brand is visible from across the hall, and you have room to do things a 10x20 inline booth simply can't — a dedicated meeting area, a live demo station, a product showcase that doesn't feel cramped.
We carry five distinct 20x20 display systems: SEGO modular lightboxes, Modco structural island booths, Origami SEG truss islands, Cabo turnkey booth kits, and hybrid configurations that bridge inline and island formats. Every system ships as a complete graphic package with custom dye-sublimated printing included.
Comparing footprints? Our 10x20 trade show displays are worth a look if you're not ready for a full island.
20x20 Display Systems We Carry
20x20 SEGO Modular Lightbox Display — from $8,834 SEGO (Silicone Edge Graphics) paired with integrated LED backlighting. Configuration L ($8,834) offers a double-sided layout for booths where brand visibility from multiple directions matters. Configuration I ($13,683) scales up with a more complex modular structure. Both use the same silicone-edged fabric system — the graphic border presses into a channel in the aluminum frame, producing a perfectly flat, hardware-free finish that reads cleanly from 30 feet away.
20x20 Modco Modular Island Booths — from $20,517 The Modco line is for exhibitors who want a structurally distinctive island exhibit, something with architectural presence, not just a backwall and a counter. The Modco 11 ($20,517) includes a tower element that adds vertical height and makes the booth visible above the standard 8-foot sightline. The Modco 5A ($21,144) is the most complete system in this collection, with the highest degree of structural complexity and built-out booth environment.
20x20 Origami SEG Truss Islands — from $12,542 The Origami truss line bridges the gap between fabric display systems and custom fabrication. The truss structure adds dimension and height without the cost of a fully custom build. Island D ($16,664) and Island C ($21,323) are open-floor configurations accessible from all four sides. The Inline B ($12,542) adapts the same truss aesthetic for a 20x20 space used as a large inline rather than a true island.
20x20 Cabo Booth Systems — from $8,242 The Cabo line delivers a cohesive, built-out booth environment at a more accessible price point. Cabo C ($8,242) and Cabo E ($8,600) are structured turnkey kits, frame, counters, and graphics ordered together and shipped ready to assemble. The 10x20 Cabo B ($5,016) is included in this collection for exhibitors who want the Cabo aesthetic in a mid-size inline footprint.

What to Think Through Before Ordering a 20x20 Booth
Island vs. peninsula — does your floor plan actually allow all four sides? A true 20x20 island exhibit is open on all four sides, which means attendees can walk in from any direction. Some venues assign 20x20 spaces that are actually corner or peninsula configurations with one or two walls shared with neighboring booths. Confirm your floor plan before choosing a system — it affects which configuration will work and how the graphics should be oriented.
Structure vs. fabric-only systems. Fabric display systems (SEGO, Cabo) are lighter, faster to set up, and easier to ship. Structural systems (Modco, Origami Truss) take longer to assemble and require more freight management, but they create a fundamentally different visual environment — one that reads as designed rather than displayed. The right choice depends on your show calendar, your staffing on setup day, and how much the exhibit environment itself needs to communicate about your brand.
Height and visibility. Most exhibit halls allow structures up to 16 or 20 feet in island configurations. The Modco tower elements and Origami truss systems take advantage of this, adding vertical presence that makes your booth locatable from across the floor. If you're exhibiting at a large show with 500+ booths, height is one of the few ways to get seen before anyone is close enough to read your graphic.
Budget planning. The honest range for a production-ready 20x20 island booth runs from around $8,200 for a Cabo turnkey kit to $21,000+ for a fully structural Modco system. The variance reflects what you're getting: complexity of structure, lighting, graphic coverage, and setup requirements. A trade show booth under $10,000 at this size is a fabric-based system with a defined footprint and straightforward setup. A $20,000+ system is a built-out booth environment.
Reconfiguring for smaller shows. Several systems in this collection can be broken down into smaller inline configurations. Two 10x20 displays can sometimes be combined to form a 20x20 footprint, and separated again for shows with smaller allocations. If your show calendar includes different booth sizes across the year, flag that when you call us and we'll match you to a system that has that flexibility built in.
Why Capital Exhibits
A 20x20 booth is a real investment. The wrong system — one that's difficult to assemble with your crew, or that doesn't hold up after the third show, or that looks different in person than it did in the product image — is expensive to fix mid-season.
We've helped brands configure island exhibits across all the systems in this collection and can walk you through what the setup day actually looks like, what the shipping weight and case count will be, and which configuration fits your specific floor plan.
-
Complete graphic packages. Frame, printed fabric, and case ship together as one tested kit.
-
Rush production available when your show date is closer than it should be.
-
Honest configuration advice. If a Cabo system does everything you need, we'll tell you that rather than steering you toward a Modco.
-
Reprints on file. When your graphics update next season, your frame dimensions stay in our system for fast, accurate reprints.

frequently asked questions
How long does it take to set up a 20x20 trade show display?
Setting up a 20x20 trade show booth typically takes two to four hours, depending on your layout. Modular systems with tool-free assembly are faster, while custom exhibits featuring heavy media integration, overhead hanging signs, or private meeting rooms may require dedicated installation crews.
Can a 20x20 trade show booth be reconfigured for smaller events?
Yes, many of our modular 20x20 trade show displays are completely scalable. You can easily break down the hardware components and graphics to create smaller 10x20 or 10x10 exhibits. This flexibility maximizes your return on investment across different event floor plans throughout the year.
How do you ship a large 20x20 trade show exhibit?
Despite their massive size, our 20x20 displays are designed for smart portability. The structural hardware and fabric graphics break down efficiently into heavy-duty, wheeled shipping cases. These hard cases protect your investment during transit and easily roll directly onto the exhibition floor.
Is a 20x20 booth worth it over a 10x20?
At a large industry show with hundreds of exhibitors, a 20x20 island booth is the first size where you can create an environment rather than just a backdrop. If your goal is hosting conversations, running live demos, and building brand presence at a major event, the 20x20 footprint justifies the cost. If you exhibit at smaller regional shows or your primary goal is lead collection at a backwall, a 10x20 inline is probably the more efficient investment.
